Somalia and Ethiopia Thank Türkiye for Diplomatic Efforts to End Dispute
Somalia and Ethiopia have taken a step towards reconciliation and peace, thanks to the diplomatic efforts of Türkiye. The two East African countries have been embroiled in a bitter dispute for almost a year, causing great tensions between the two neighboring nations. President Erdoğan’s dedication and skillful mediation have helped us reach an agreement.”
With the help of President Erdoğan, Somalia and Ethiopia have signed an agreement to work towards restoring their relations and resolving their dispute through peaceful means. The agreement also includes a commitment to respect each other’s borders and refrain from any further military activity in the disputed area.
