Former NSC senior director: Trump ‘will have to do something militarily’ in Iran

Former Senior Director Calls for Action as Iran’s Brutal Crackdown on Protests Continues

In recent months, the world has watched in horror as mass protests erupted in Iran, with thousands of people taking to the streets to voice their frustrations with the government. However, what started as a peaceful act of dissent has quickly turned into a bloody and violent crackdown by the Iranian regime. And now, former senior director of the National Security Council, Michael Allen, is speaking out and calling for action.

In a recent interview, Allen expressed his deep concern for the Iranian people as the death toll continues to rise. He stated, “The scope and scale of the regime’s bloody crackdown on protests is truly alarming. It is clear that the Iranian government is willing to go to extreme measures to silence the voices of its own citizens.” According to reports, more than 6,000 people, mostly protestors, have been killed as a result of the brutal crackdown.

Allen, who served in the National Security Council under the Obama administration, believes that President Trump is now faced with a difficult decision – to intervene or to stand by and watch as innocent lives are taken by a ruthless regime. “The President will have to do something militarily,” Allen emphasized. “The Iranian people are crying out for help, and it is our duty as a global community to stand with them and protect their basic human rights.”

The protests in Iran began in November 2019, sparked by a sudden increase in gasoline prices. However, they quickly evolved into a broader expression of anger towards the government’s handling of the economy, corruption, and political repression. The regime’s response has been ruthless, with reports of security forces using live ammunition, tear gas, and even snipers to quell the protests. This has resulted in countless innocent lives being taken and many more injured and arrested.

In light of these atrocities, Allen is urging the international community to take action and stand in solidarity with the Iranian people. He stated, “It is time for the world to come together and show the Iranian regime that their actions will not be tolerated. We cannot allow such brutal and inhumane treatment of civilians to continue unchecked.”

Many countries, including the United States, have already imposed sanctions on Iran, but Allen believes that more must be done. He suggests that military intervention may be necessary to put an end to the regime’s violent crackdown and prevent further loss of life. However, he stresses the importance of carefully considering all options and working with allies to find a solution that will effectively protect the Iranian people.

In response to Allen’s statements, the White House has not ruled out the possibility of military intervention. Vice President Mike Pence stated, “The United States will not stand by while the Iranian regime continues to oppress its people and trample on their basic rights.”

It is clear that the situation in Iran is dire and requires immediate action. The international community cannot stand idly by while innocent lives are being lost. Former Senior Director Michael Allen’s call for military intervention may seem drastic, but it is a necessary step to protect the Iranian people and send a strong message to the regime that their actions will not be tolerated.

As the world continues to watch and wait, we must come together and support the brave protestors in Iran who are risking their lives for a better future. Let us stand in solidarity with the people of Iran and demand justice for those who have been killed and injured. It is time for the Iranian regime to be held accountable for their atrocities, and it is our duty as a global community to take action and bring an end to this brutal crackdown.
