Iran Accuses Israeli Prime Minister of Interfering in US Policy

Iran has strongly condemned the recent statements made by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, accusing him of attempting to dictate U.S. policy towards Iran. Tehran has called this move a clear sign of Netanyahu’s interference in the internal affairs of both Iran and the United States.

In a recent speech at the United Nations General Assembly, Netanyahu demanded the total dismantling of Iran’s nuclear program and claimed that Iran is a threat not only to Israel but to the entire world. He also called on the international community to impose tougher sanctions on Iran and isolate the country until it completely abandons its nuclear ambitions.

Iran’s Foreign Ministry spokesman, Bahram Qassemi, responded to these accusations by stating that Netanyahu’s remarks are baseless and are aimed at diverting attention from the illegal actions of Israel in the region. He also accused Netanyahu of trying to manipulate U.S. policy towards Iran for his own political gain.

Qassemi emphasized that Iran’s nuclear program is strictly for peaceful purposes and is in full compliance with the regulations of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA). He also pointed out that Iran has consistently and transparently cooperated with the IAEA and has allowed its inspectors to conduct regular inspections of its nuclear facilities.

Furthermore, Qassemi stated that Netanyahu’s claims of Iran being a threat to the world are absurd and unfounded. He stressed that Iran has always been a responsible member of the international community and has played a crucial role in promoting peace and stability in the region.

Iran’s Foreign Minister, Mohammad Javad Zarif, also criticized Netanyahu’s remarks and accused him of constantly trying to spread fear and hatred towards Iran. He called on the international community to not be influenced by Netanyahu’s propaganda and to instead focus on the real threats to global peace and security.

Zarif further stated that Netanyahu’s interference in U.S. policy towards Iran is a violation of international norms and is a clear attempt to undermine the positive steps taken by the two countries towards resolving their differences through dialogue and diplomacy.

Iran has always expressed its willingness to engage in constructive dialogue with the United States and other countries to address any concerns about its nuclear program. The historic Iran Nuclear Deal, also known as the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), is a testament to this commitment.

Under the JCPOA, Iran agreed to limit its nuclear activities in exchange for the lifting of sanctions imposed by the United States and other countries. The deal was also endorsed by the United Nations Security Council, making it a binding international agreement.

However, since the United States’ withdrawal from the JCPOA in 2018, Israel has been a vocal opponent of the agreement and has continuously lobbied for its collapse. Netanyahu’s recent statements are seen as a desperate attempt to undermine the JCPOA and prevent any possibility of its revival.

In conclusion, Iran’s strong response to Netanyahu’s interference in U.S. policy towards Iran highlights the country’s commitment to protecting its sovereignty and rejecting any external pressure or influence. Tehran has made it clear that it will not tolerate any attempts to undermine its peaceful nuclear program and will continue to work towards promoting regional and global peace and stability. The international community should take note of Iran’s legitimate concerns and reject any attempts to derail the progress made towards resolving the issues surrounding Iran’s nuclear program.
